Word Guard
A simple endless tower defense game played in landscape where your objective is to upgrade your towers and castle with points earned from solving crosswords.
This game was orginally made for a two day school game challenge, and was later updated and extended from feedback.

-increased the stability to around 95%
-added keyboard support(QWERTZ only)
-increased library of the supported words
-added the ability to accept multiple words if the criteria fits
-tweaked difficulty and help amount
-added the ability to earn extra points when all words are guessed
-added the ability to earn score by guessing words
-delayed timer start time until all input letters are visible
-display bugs still may appear, but the player should get rewarded in all cases
*Other*
-reworked most of the codebase to remove hardcoded parts to extend scalability and improve stability
-fixed majority of bugs
-migrated to Unity 6
-added health bar for the enemies
-added finalized logo from the challenge
-scaled text holders for edge cases
-qol changes
-changed level layout
-added castle with the ability to upgrade health
-this update is probably the last and only update since this was only a side project and demand for and update is unlikely<3

list of suggestions:
- either add crossword clues or allow any eligible word or show partial matches wordle style
- don't start timer until the setup animation is over
- projectiles freeze and don't disappear when en route to an enemy that's already dead
- allow keyboard input for entering words in crossword
- add health bars to enemy units
really good start. I hope this game is developed to its full potential.
Is the crossword just a guessing game? I had S_L_ and there seemed to be no way to tell that the word was sell as opposed to solo or sale or sole...
